What is the BuiltGreen™ Program?

The BuiltGreen™ program is an exciting program administered by the Canadian Homebuilders Association. Built-Rite Homes is certified by the BuiltGreen™ program through specifically designed builder training. It is designed to use a CHECKLIST or "menu" of items which can be customized based on the specific preferences of the homeowner. Along with the BuiltGreen™ checklist selections, the home receives an ENERGUIDE RATING which rates the energy efficiency and consumption within the home. 

Our mission is to provide our clients with the highest quality, energy efficient, environmentally sound projects WITHIN THEIR BUDGET. This focuses on maximizing our clients' return on their investment without compromising craftsmanship, quality materials, or the environment.

  2. Built-Rite Homes will work with you to customize your BuiltGreen™ package
  3. Register your home in the BuiltGreen™ program
  4. Model your home to forecast ENERGUIDE rating and optimize for your home
  5. Build your home
  6. Arrange testing of your home to confirm ENERGUIDE rating prior to possession
  7. Finalize and receive the ENERGUIDE FOR NEW HOUSES rating along with the official BuiltGreen™  seal and plaque
  8. Built-Rite Homes will complete all rebate applications
  9. Enjoy your HIGH PERFORMING home!
